A brand new homepage for TGT

Like all good Taverns do, this place was starting to get a little bit fusty and our feet were beginning to stick to the floor a bit. So, we closed our old homepage and decided to give it a fresh lick of paint, scrub the furniture and move DoubleAA to sleep on the other side of the room while we hoovered.
We've got a new home...page. No, we haven't moved platforms again, don't worry. We decided it was high time to update our website that shows people what we're all about, and all the services that we can offer. It will also double up as a live blog feed so for any changes, updates or general ramblings, you'll find all those in one go to place now, rather than splintered across different accounts. We will still crosspost where needed, however- for important updates. This said, in keeping with our Fediverse beliefs, this platform can also be fully federated- which we're working on as we speak.
What's changed for existing users?
Nothing. If anything, you now have a single website with everything TGT on it- server status, contact forms to get in touch with us if needs be, blog feeds etc. We're now going to potentially be a bit more visible on the web so, we may potentially get more new people in- please don't scare them off will you, even if they use Arch.
What's changed for new users?
Nothing. Welcome in, come pull up a chair :) Feel free to browse, familiarise yourself with what we have on offer, and get in touch if you have any questions.
Is The Gamers' Tavern changing?
No. We're still the same bunch of [lovely] weirdos we've always been. We're just making ourselves a little more visible. What's a few more chairs here and there, huh?
Whats next for TGT?
Well, we've been eyeing up a new blog platform to use instead of Writefreely for a multitude of reasons, one being that Writefreely is - whilst a nice and simple platform to use - actually a bit of a pain in the arse to manage. We don't have an ETA for this yet, or an alternative lined up. Nor will we just cut the cord on Writefreely without any preparation or ability to export if you wish. Stay tuned.
