The Grog Rats want YOU (to join us in Eorzea)!
Hello dear Tavern regulars, occasional visitors and the ones outside looking in! It is I, Sunie, one half of the new Event Manager team here at the tavern, welcoming you to join us in Final Fantasy XIV!
Rumblings of all the wonderful adventures in Eorzea have been going around the Gamers' Tavern lately, which prompted many of us to dust off the old login screen and restart the game from scratch. Some of us are even joining in for the first time! Our goal is to come together once per week to level up and experience the Main Scenario Quests together. We made sure that we all started in Limsa Lominsa so we could start playing together as soon as possible. Outside of our weekly gatherings, we're leveling up crafters, gatherers and other jobs, basically enjoying all the game has to offer in a communal, slow-paced tempo.
Of course, as soon as we're able, we'll be establishing a Free Company and run events for FFXIV's myriad activities, like the Gold Saucer, Treasure Maps and whatever else tickles our fancy. We'd love for you to be a part of the journey and come up the ranks with us.
So! If you find yourself in need of some companionship during the long wait for the new expansion, no matter if you're new, a Dalamud survivor from the 1.0 days or if you just simply wanna wave hello while we wreak havoc on some poor, unsuspecting Mandragora's, you'll be able to find us on the Omega world (Chaos Data Center).
If you would like to level alongside us come Friday (or any future Friday), we're in Limsa Lominsa, around level 12-15 and currently on the MSQ 'Loam Maintenance'. Most of our players are new or at the very least have not finished the current content. We ask you to respect that fact and refrain from spoilers.
What? You didn't think I'd forget telling you our ingame names so you could send us a tell, right? Well you'd be right, because I did! Since we don't have an FC yet, please send either Sunie Fairbreeze or Dark One a tell, or contact either Sunie or Darke on Mastodon and we'll make a plan to hook up! See? I didn't forget! Not at all! Haha...ha.
